Complete power supply for Bospop Festival
For nearly 40 years, we have provided the complete power supply for Bospop Festival in Weert. From the earliest editions, we have been responsible for the temporary power infrastructure across the festival site. In 2022, a new challenge emerged: making the festival more sustainable.
Together with the organization, we explored a more sustainable approach to power supply. To make this possible, we installed a 10 kV network across the Bospop site, including the use of temporary transformers. With our transformer units connected to the Enexis grid, Bospop now runs largely on renewable power from the public grid.
Sustainable and reliable
This makes the festival unique in the Netherlands: a large-scale event that can operate with minimal generator use. The result is significant fuel savings and a substantial reduction in CO₂ emissions, while the organization can rely on a stable and reliable power supply.
This project shows that we do more than provide temporary rental equipment. We work closely with our clients, develop practical solutions, and help make their operations more sustainable, without compromising reliability.
